                The curriculum is one of the elements that make a significant contribution in realizing the goals of national education. The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the purpose, content, and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for the implementation of learning activities to achieve certain educational goals. The curriculum is developed in a diversified the adjustment of educational programs in educational units with the potential condition of specificities in the regions and students.

                The Basic Competence of Curriculum 2013 SDIT KTSP) the 2013 curriculum intends to develop the potential of students to be able to reflect and to solve social problems in society and to build better democratic society life thus they also focus in developing the individual lives of students in religion, art, creativity, communication, values and various intelligence's dimensions that are in accordance with a student's self and needed by society, nation and humanity. The curriculum had it's standard based education which corresponds to the competency based curriculum. KTSP arranged subjects to increase the student's faith, piety and noble character and insight of nationality with its foundation with national unity and values to increase the holistic and systematic progress to improve human dignity and that it enables self-potential into account of talents, interest, and level of intelligence development, intellectual, emotional, social, and kinesthetic learners to compete globally and to adapt easily.

                The 2013 Primary curriculum was created to provide a basis for the development of all potential students to become qualified indonesians listed in the national education goals, it aims to develop national education to the progress of students to become faithful, knowledgeable, accountable, capable, creative, independent and become democratic and responsible citizen, to become productive and effective to students to enable to contribute to the society, nation, and into the world of civilization.

                The curriculum was designed to achieve it's plans and that aims to develop SDIT.
